The best way to re-find your songs is to create one or more playlists and then putting the songs you want to play often in a playlist.
It is possible to select the sorting method in the Artist, Collections and Styles tabs.The possible sorting methods are:
One rather common problem is finding all collections added since the last time you played any songs. The easiest way is to select the 'Collections' tab on the creation date, and then check the collections at the top of the list.

- Name, increasing. Reverse alphabetical order

- The creation date, decreasing. Newest first

In the 'object' menu there is a 'List matching...' selection. Selecting this will pup up a search window.Enter a substring of the name to find all songs matching that string. You can use * and ? much in the same way that they are used in a shell.
There is also a 'List new...' option, use that one to list all new or modified objects in the database.
The objects in the result list are draggable and clickable.
The object view (or information) window contains a lot of links to other objects.You can click on these objects to select them, and thus 'walk' around in the database, much in the same way that you surf the world wide web (odd expression, that)
